Based:             Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) – On Site full time (Non Hybrid)

Salary:             Up to £31k Dependant on Experience + Great Benefits

Hours:             Full Time Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week

We are now seeking an HSE Coordinator, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.

What you’ll do

Working with the established HSE Team on site at Long Clawson and at our Bottesford site, you will support HSE for the business by ensuring that it’s at the heart of everything we do, with the aim of ensuring a safe, secure and supportive environment.

• Monitor and analyse safety performance and feedback
• Encourage hazard reporting and seek activity improvements
• Support in accident / incident investigations and take precautions to prevent re occurrence

• Encourage and support the safety representatives and run monthly safety rep meeting
• Support health and safety training, identifying training needs and deliver training as required.

• Seek environmental improvements, obtain data to support site KPIs and customer requirements.

• Identifying hazards, assess the risks and recommend suitable control measures.

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar HSE role within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Good Understanding of Food Safety/Level 2 food Safety.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
• Organisational skills- good time management and priority setting.
• Training experience and expertise
• Working knowledge of MS Office packages.
• Demonstrates Clawson values.

Desirable

• NEBOSH General Certificate.
